Give me time and I’ll give you a revolution.

    Fashion Ipsum

For me, art is about learning and about living with people. It’s alive. I like to be real. I don’t like things to be staged or fussy. My job is to bring out in people what they wouldn’t dare do themselves. I think it’s an old fashioned notion that fashion needs to be exclusive to be fashionable. I like things simple.

I am not interested in shock tactics. I just want to make beautiful clothes. You’re only as good as your last collection, which is an enormous pressure. Even Michelangelo got paid for doing the Sistine Chapel. To those artists who say they’re doing it for the love of art, I say: Get real. Doing collections, doing fashion is like a non-stop dialogue. Fashion never stops. There is always the new project, the new opportunity.
